Morgan County Clerk’s Election Information Page
The County Clerk is the election authority for the county and its political
subdivisions, and is responsible for conducting all public elections. Regular
elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in April, August,
and November. Special elections may also be called in February or June by
certain public entities. Two notices displaying sample ballots and polling
locations are published in the local newspaper prior to each election. For more

Election Judges
The Morgan County Clerk's Office is in need of election judges to staff our 10
polling places for the countywide elections throughout the year. Election judges
are currently needed in our area. In order to serve, you must declare one of the
two major political parties, and be a registered voter in Morgan County.
The pay is $90 per day ($95 for supervisors). In addition, you will be paid $10,
plus mileage, for attending an hour-long training session per election. The
workday begins at 5:15 a.m. and ends after the polls close at 7:00 p.m.
Our free and open elections are a constant reminder of the endurance and
vitality of our democracy. The service each of contributes is a necessary part
of the election process.
